No more bailouts — the SABC's big turnaround plan

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has a five-year turnaround plan that is based on the state-owned enterprise no longer needing government funding.

This was revealed by the SABC’s chairperson, Khathutshelo Ramukumba, in a presentation to Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Communications and Digital Technologies.

Right, so they haven't been able to become profitable with government funding after all these years, and now magically they're going to pull it off without?

Bullsh*t. The government is scrapping the failed TV license system in favour of a mandatory household media levy tax.

They just need the millions of TV users to pay the outstanding R22b in TV license arrears. Lol
