Those that can afford the internet required for a streaming service are not SABC's target market. People watch SABC because they literally cannot afford to watch anything else. Never have I seen a company so unaware of who their consumers are. They keep trying to posture themselves as some sort of premium offering when their content is junk and only caters to the lower class section of South Africa. SABC is winning the race to the bottom as they've built their content to cater for the masses, who have no money, and now they wonder why they can't get any revenue.
