They should start changing our equipments voltages like the USA Standard.

They run everything on 110v (which uses half the watts) :) {sad but true} *hides behind a big candle*

Not sure if serious...

The use the same wattage. Double the current at half the voltage.

I assume you never did basic physics at school.

I assume you never did basic maths at school. You can move equations around you see...
I = P/V

That's actually what happens -- the current depends on the power you are using and the voltage. (p stays the same, if you change V you change A too)
