The former South African farmer who became an HP, Apple, and Google executive

John Solomon is Google's top man in charge of ChromeOS, the company's resource-light operating system designed for high performance and long-lasting battery life on lower-end hardware.

Solomon has been vice president of Google ChromeOS and Education since May 2018, and although most of his career has been spent in the US, he is a born and bred South African.

I don't use Google products for obvious reasons, I certainly wouldn't allow anyone to install Chrome on one of my devices.

What do you browse the web with?
Oh... you do use Google products BTW. It's nearly impossible not to, unless you have some secrets for us mortals.

No idea, just threw a stone in the dark.
I would assume that's what he meant. I am curious though if he specifically blocks the deluge of Google scripts on every page he visits... We all use google products. It's very difficult not to. Maybe he was just referring to desktop apps.
