The two guys who built a world-class ISP in Port Elizabeth

Franco Barbalich and Andrew Simpson achieved something really special — building a nationally competitive Internet service provider (ISP) in Gqeberha (previously known as Port Elizabeth).

Barbalich founded Axxess in his one-bedroom flat in 1997. At the time, it was called Axxess Africa and only offered website hosting and design.

Gqeberha previously named Port Elizabeth, and colloquially referred to as P.E.,[a] is a major seaport and the most populous city in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is the seat of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa's second-smallest metropolitan municipality by area.[6] It is the sixth-most populous city in South Africa[7][8][9] and is the cultural, economic and financial hub of the Eastern Cape

I can't imagine the comment section for this is going to be overly positive.
Complaints for them is only slight below webafrica on this forum.

They used to be good maybe round 2010-2015s

Absolute other experience with Fixed LTE more recently. Zero support and absolutely clueless.

Absolute Legends!

Simmo and Franco are among the best I’ve had the honour and privilege to work with. Love your work gents!

Just a pity that their "World Class Service" levels are on par with every ISP out there.

@Afrihost-Gian why do you guys insist on hiring "Support Techs" with zero skill. Every time you contact Afrihost/Axxess support you get a generic response.

Please upskill your staff or get people who actually understand basic TCP/IP
