I suppose... why not.

I mean original settlers did the same when they took land that belonged to everyone and said it just belonged to them. So why not the same with the sun? :D

I think this woman is batty and I dont agree with it, but what she is doing is no different to what is already being done.

Lol, I'll be the first to sue her for skin cancer then - she didnt put any warning labels on the sun for me to see. That'll teach her to do something so stupid

I believe some other dude "owns" all the planets too. I seriously don't think anyone actually recognizes this "ownership". So if NASA sends a probe to the sun, she could say no?

Sure, she can own the sun, but she can't charge me for a service I did not ask for, like "Sun rays"

not only can she not charge me a dime, but I can now sue her if her sun rays causes damage to me or my car. which it does.

I think this lady has just opened herself up to lawsuits (skin cancer, sunburn, droughts, flash fires, etc).

Um, no... no it isnt. In the real world, settlers:

1 Actually came to & walked on the land, (try doing that on the sun) and then:
2 Bought, traded or conquered it from the natives, (which don't exist on the sun) how is this the same?

In he real world settlers came and mostly killed for the land (and sometimes traded) for something that did not belong to them and now charge people to live on those places that did not belong to anyone in the first place. Same concept dude.

Huge swathes of land that were "settled" were never explored by "settlers" until hundreds of years after they simply said they owned that land. So actually walking on it is not a requirement, and neither is having natives (I laughed a bit at that point) :D

There are many parts of the world owned today, that have no natives and have not being walked on that are owned by someone or something.

Um thats what trading is about, something doesn't belong to you, so you trade something that does, to get it??. And fair enough if theres no natives the first person to claim it owns it. Although you have to be able to use it, common sense still applies. Places that like you said, were claimed but not explored were eventually bought or conquered. If something about that bothers you, fair enough, many people would agree, but don't just say it didn't happen.

What's stopping everyone from evicting her from earth so she can live on the Sun?

Does that mean we can hold her accountable for global warming since it's the sun that's the sole form of energy on earth? She must turn it a lil down.
