I must say Chris Very interesting Thread.

I have learnt allot here but also learnt nothing at the same time.

I feel the same way as you, but i refuse to drink or smoke and have just as much fun as the person who smokes and drinks. Its against what i believe to drink, and if you(whoever) want to bash me for that then by all means.

The "clubbing" scene seems very Shallow... I want to be able to have a decent conversation with someone and not a "hey remember that time we got so drunk we (insert things done when drunk)...

It doesn't make sense to me. I respect anyone who drinks as much as i respect someone who doesn't and the people from this forum that i know in person knows that.

I had some of my best times being with people from this forum and hope to have many many many more!!

You're totally right, it is shallow. I have the same view as you, except I do drink (won't smoke though), and I do go to clubs. There is just something abouth that whole "scene" that is very attractive. Have you tried getting drunk before?

-Not interested in packs of women (Hot women)
-Can't enjoy a drink/shooters
-Don't have many outgoing friends
-Can't dance / fear of dancing

I've had a few girlfriends in the past, but at this time in my life I would rather have solid friendships than meet girls who I might go out with, and then, say we break up, and never speak to again.

But yeah, I dont spend my nights alone...My friends (females included ) are just as inclined as me...we go out often, and when we dont, we spend the nights chatting on IM programs...It's not like I have no friends/social life, it just doesnt follow the usual route of clubbing/drinking/one night stand

Lol... Nah, Im a regular guy from Roodepoort, who just doesnt enjoy clubbing...I guess it has to do with my upbringing...My sisters didnt ever get into the whole clubbing thing either. And before someone says it, I'm not saying that clubbing is representative of bad parenting/upbringing, its just a different result

i'm sorry but I need to pick ur brain some more here...but...WHY don't you like it? honestly now, I seriously can't understand why a Male wouldn't like those places...

I love my PC too, the odd IMing, gaming, surfing and even programming - but c'mon, you guys need to try it a bit more / go out with clubbing friends and party PROPERLY.
