Axe, i think it's cause you went out with friends that have never been out before - no one to show you the ropes i guess...
Peder i meant PROPERLY as-in:
(A) Have a few drinks extra - standing with a single drink all night (like Axe's example) isn't gonna "magically entertain you all night"
(B) Go out and meet NEW people, chat with REAL people - even if it's another dude at the bar.
(C) Go out and DANCE. if you can't, go back to step (A)
(D) Enjoy it - stop analizing it.
But these are the friends who I spend most of my days with, the people who I want to know for the rest of my life.
I've been drunk before, I, dare I say it, enjoy house parties, in moderation. I have no desire to go and get drunk every weekend.
Going back to my earlier example, its not that we only wanted one drink, but the environment (so many people) did not allow us to have one drink - unless we drink our drink while in the queue for our next drink?
Also, personally, the music was unbearably loud - I couldnt have spoken to someone else at the bar. And yeah, it is one of my lesser traits, I do have a hard time speaking to people I dont know. As soon as I get to know someone, I'm a COMPLETELY different person with them.
