The Grand Tour is really getting long in the tooth now,the bickering that goes on has become so irritating, the women driver is even worse than the American dude, the Celebrities are a total waste of time too..we hardly know any,In my opinion the best episode series 2 has been episode 10,and no car on test track with the women driver was so nice did not even miss it,nice seeing Jeremy liking the Tesla for once!..although they over priced like apple products, tesla's are build ****,like most American cars built by red neck hill billy's.I am glad James likes Honda's I am in that category with him the Honda NSX is a fantastic car!!Pity we won't see it here in South Africa!

I like it, and as for the ending, it is not like it's really the end. They'll be back soon enough. I quite enjoyed it.

Just finished watching episode 11.

The whole episode consists of the "special", so no studio time (conversation street, celeb face off) or any car reviews & lap times.

To me, the "magic" of the trio's TG era "specials" was present in this episode, same humor, madness and ridiculousness. If you are not a huge fan of Grand Tour, but liked TG previously, try out this episode at least. Hammond falling off his motorcycle plenty of times is, well, typical Hammond. Top quote of Hammond: "I don't even like fish!" was very funny (watch the episode to experience it in context)

Looking forward to season 3.

Biker in the Motorcycle Thread bought a similar bike as Hammond... Wishing him safe travels.

Hammond is a real trooper for that ride.

Finally got around to watching 211. Rather enjoyable pretty much from start to finish however as others have expressed the ending was a bit of a downer. I know the angle they are playing with that ending but I wasn't 100% convinced.

Having said all that still a great piece of entertainment but I personally still prefer the TG Botswana Special from 2007. That was a cracker of an African adventure!

Alas the long (many months) wait till S3.

Didn't Top Gear used to air towards the end of the year? Were they scared of taking a ratings knock by airing it simultaneously with TGT?

Some seasons did premier as early as late January in the past, but they’ve also started as late as May. I don’t think they’ve ever had a specific date other than usually “Spring” iirc

I remember it being twice a year - mid and end.

It's just a bit convenient being aired a week after this ends...
