So no Season Four. Amazon has dropped Clarkson & Co.

Whaaaat! Such horrible news!

The Grand Bore: End of the road for Jeremy Clarkson's £100million show as Amazon doesn't offer fourth series as veteran lands himself job as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host

It was one of Amazon’s flagship shows – and it pumped a massive £100 million into making three series.

But now it seems Jeremy Clarkson’s action-packed motoring extravaganza The Grand Tour may be out of gas.

Amazon hasn’t offered Clarkson a fourth series and he has already found himself a new job – presenting a revamped version of ITV quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Sources say co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May – and the entire Grand Tour crew – might also be job hunting when series three filming is complete in the summer.

Says my back seat mole: ‘There is nothing to suggest they are going to do another one. No one has signed anything and employees are wondering where everyone will go once filming wraps.’

Clarkson, Hammond and May signed a multi-million-pound deal to move to Amazon’s subscription service in 2015. The trio’s big-money move came after Clarkson’s BBC contract was not renewed following an incident in which he attacked a Top Gear producer.

Clarkson had fronted 22 series of the BBC show.

The Grand Tour producer Andy Wilman – another former Top Gear man – said yesterday: ‘We are focusing on series three at the moment.’ Clarkson declined to comment.

Hopefully Netflix or someone else picks them up... They're really good, don't have to be as over the top expensive as they have been. Could be great to see more english country side in their show.

Daily Fail at it again.

Wouldn't take it seriously unless confirmed by a more credible source...

Stupid Daily Fail.

Is the Daily Fail there the equivalent to the Daily Voice here but less gam?

Well, the Mail is a "special" newspaper, I think it was the first mainstream newspaper to be banned from use as a source by Wikipedia.

Wikipedia editors have voted to ban the Daily Mail as a source for the website in all but exceptional circumstances after deeming the news group “generally unreliable”.

The move is highly unusual for the online encyclopaedia, which rarely puts in place a blanket ban on publications and which still allows links to sources such as Kremlin backed news organisation Russia Today, and Fox News, both of which have raised concern among editors.

The editors described the arguments for a ban as “centred on the Daily Mail’s reputation for poor fact checking, sensationalism and flat-out fabrication”.

Clarkson denies The Grand Tour is being axed

London - Jeremy Clarkson has rubbished claims his hit motoring show, The Grand Tour, won't have another season with Amazon Prime.

Clarkson took to twitter in response to article by the Daily Mail reporting hinting that the show would be cancelled after its third season.

The motoring show, which also features former Top Gear hosts Richard Hammond and James May is streamed on Amazon Prime.

The 11 episode second season has just ended.

But the Daily Mail reported on Sunday that Clarkson was already looking for another job. The British television star is currently presenting ITV's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
