Here's the Explosion-Filled Trailer for The Grand Tour Season Three

Season three of The Grand Tour returns to Amazon Prime members on Jan. 18, 2019. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. There’s a brand-new trailer for it too, which dropped today.

The trailer offers pretty standard TGT stuff, which is some minor drifting, burnouts, yelling, crashing, explosions and sweeping establishing shots. Like a game of automotive Mad Libs, the only things that change are the cars.

This season, it looks like the Three Amigos will find themselves behind the wheels of a Dodge Challenger, a Chevy Camaro, a Ford Mustang, a Lamborghini Urus, a Jeep Wrangler, some RVs, a Porsche 911, a Mercedes X-Class and a McLaren Senna. It also looks like Abbie Eaton, the show’s racing driver who was introduced last season, is making a return.

Back in March, we reported on a potential rumor that this would mark the final season of The Grand Tour. Amazon wouldn’t comment, but a company source called that the rumor “baseless.” However! I heard my own rumor from a friend whose friend was allegedly chatting with producer Andy Wilman’s friend that this indeed will be the last season. Guess we’ll find out soon enough!

WATCH: Clarkson battles the elements, May plays bagpipes, Hammond's crazy Jeep stunt... The Grand Tour Season 3 looks epic!

Amazon Prime has announced that the highly-anticipated third series of The Grand Tour will launch exclusively on Prime Video on January 18.

The new episodes featuring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will be released weekly, exclusively for Prime members, in over 200 countries worldwide.

The new trailer shows Richard Hammond struggling to keep his Jeep on a tiny bridge over a steep canyon in Colombia. Also revealed are the three comrades taking on epic challenges in Detroit and Nevada, Jeremy and Abbie attempting an unusual snowy challenge in Sweden, and James May playing the bagpipes in Scotland.

For series 3, the trio have filmed around the world, causing more chaos than ever before as they travel through tricky terrains in Colombia, Mongolia, China, Detroit and…Stansted Airport, whilst their giant studio tent remains back home in ‘Jeremy’s garden’ in the Cotswolds.

With a few explosions along the way, the sneak peek of The Grand Tour’s new series promises fans more of what they love as the three friends journey through stunning scenery, test the world’s most incredible cars and answer the questions that literally no one is asking.

The Grand Tour returns to Prime Video on 18th January 2019. Series 1 and 2 are available to stream only on Prime Video now.

didn't visit southern Africa this time?

oh well, there is always next year.
Let's hope so, they're already talking about this is the final Season and there won't be more.
But then what are these 3 grumpy old men going to do.
Living with their wives everyday is going to drive them crazy
So soon they will get together again and make a Season 4

The Grand Tour season 3 on the way - watch the trailer

In the third season of The Grand Tour, Richard crosses a bridge, James plays bagpipes and Jeremy get immortalised.

Actually it does appear to be a bit more exciting than that, if the former Top Gear trio’s YouTube trailer for the upcoming season is anything to go by.

So what have they been up to lately?

The preview video (below) shows the usual, tried-and-tested mix of pranks, insults and stunts that fans have come to love (and others to loathe), plus there’s a penis-shaped snow track thrown in for good measure.

The so-called “epic challenges” took the team to locations like Detroit, the Nevada desert, Mongolia, China, Sweden and Scotland, among others, for the latest series.

Are you still a fan of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May?

Then be sure to stream the third season of the Grand Tour on Amazon Prime from 18 January 2019.
