Tiff is an option. He does not work for the BBC and he is done with 5th Gear. But they won't change the format or people in GT. It is like it is.

Also, regarding the American, I am probably wrong, but I have a hunch he's not the one doing the actual laptimes, someone else (Ben Collins?) is doing the actual laps, and the American just does some gimmicks to keep the 'Muricans happy.

That fat **** can't possibly be a racing driver.

he apparently drives in NASCAR so hes famous for driving round and round in a circle.....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Skinner_(racing_driver)

dont like him too much,
also the celebrity brain crash thing is a bit tired, it was funny the first few times then got silly,
why would any celebrity want to be mentioned there? look how X dies....

eboladrome is cool, as its completely the opposite of a racing circuit, its fast and dangerous.
and that makes it quite interesting as its not like any circuit where a car was possibly developed.

I think they need to come up with a better name for conversation street,
thats pretty dull way to call it.... I suppose news is copyrighted by TG....

Top Gear has a copyright on news? Holy funking crap eggy my boy, you've lost the plot yet again.

so why call it conversation street? for what exact reason?

unless it has something to do with that copyright....

I mean why not call it motor talk or motor news, something that actually means talking about cars.....
its probably to avoid making a mess with the BBC with lawyers and such....

Legally they would be looking for trouble if they :

Do the news on cars like they did before.
Have celebrities on a car show.

Hence conversation street and celebrity brain crash. As I have pointed out before, GT is as close to TG as they could have legally come. Exactly what Clarkson was aiming at.

Whilst I do understand, after a fashion, what you are attempting to say, your choice of words does not make it easy.

I dunno about legally. That would mean any car show with three presenters can't have a news segment? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that's bullspit.

The barbados bit was just three blokes out for a lark on holiday, and someone happened to film it.

Like that movie Adam Sandler made that time.

As opposed to spectacularly calling it "The News" on Top Gear?
