Was really hoping to see a Giulia, M3 and Jag shootout, but the Giulia only segment was good on it's own. Again, Celeb Brainfart (or whatever) and American driver were dumb.

I dunno about legally. That would mean any car show with three presenters can't have a news segment? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that's bullspit.

Restraint of trade clauses in their previous BBC contracts?
It will be quite specific, because you cant have a ROT clause for being a presenter...

What goes up, must come down again. I'd really been hoping that last week's awesome high could be sustained, but nope. Seems they didn't have much budget left after last week, so this week was mostly a skit at the beach and a LOT of in-studio talking (the most yet in the season).

Apart from that amazing Alfa segment (amazing only because it's an Alfa with a Ferrari engine - me wants so bad!!!!), the rest was just some nice light Friday entertainment. Which is why it's a good thing it's released on a Friday so I'll keep watching it anyway.

Loved the Alfa segment. That's why I watch Clarkson. So true about Alfa and flaws. My first self-paid car was an Alfa Giulia Super 1600. Was wiped out while parked outside a mate's flat in Braamies, hit by a drunk driver who couldn't make the corner.

The coral reef bit was silly.

"Celebrity Brain Crash" should be removed entirely. It's a useless load of shyte.
"Conversation Street" is starting to seem rather scripted.

^, at the very least they should get a racing driver who weighs less than 120kg

Get Jodie Kidd or something if they want to have some fun with it instead of a proper racing driver.

The other JK would be much better.

Agreed, Celebrity Braindrain and The American are two segments that ruin the show for me. I feel like they're trying too hard with those things - they were mildly amusing initially but now they're so predictable.

"Does that mean he won't be coming on?" :wtf::erm:

Seems like Mike Skinner is actually a decent oke. But they've scripted him to be an annoying redneck. Still not convinced about his driving skill though...
Ja, it's very irritating. Obviously scripted to appeal to some Brit-humour stereotype of a stoopid 'murican. He's a legend apparently - a name known in America, so some celeb glow for the show where Clarkson & Co are unknown - and a decent guy with a nice wife. Lots of videos on Youtube.

Cringeworthy on Grand Tour.
