Hammond, 47, was injured while shooting the Amazon Prime show in a remote part of Mozambique, east Africa, but has reassured fans that he is fine – and joked that his injuries were not serious enough to land him a book deal.

I LOL'd a little harder than I should have.

Goddamn. Thirty years later that Delta S4 is STILL one of my favorite cars ever. 500HP from a 1.8 supercharged AND turbocharged four pot, all in a 900kg car.

That is a Lancia 037 and powered by a 2.0 Fiat engine. :whistling:
Throw-back to the crazy power 80's! Just imagine where would todays turbo technology have been if this was not banned in the early 80's

James May reveals when The Grand Tour series 2 is landing on Amazon

The Grand Tour fans will be excited to hear the Amazon Prime Video series will return for a second series this year and now James May has revealed the month it will launch.

The first instalment of the show saw legendary trio Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May make their way from the California desert to South Africa, the Netherlands, Namibia and back home to the United Kingdom. And this October we will witness the boys embark on their next adventure.

Speaking on The One Show last night (Monday June 5), James revealed when viewers can expect the next batch of episodes to appear.

“October is when you’ll first be able to see it,” he said. “But after that, you’ll be able to see it whenever you want, of course. I’m told to say that!”

Host Matt Baker also asked the star how much was being spent on the upcoming series, to which James quipped: “As little as possible. No, it’s about the same, I would think. It is quite an expensive show to make.

“There’s a lot of travel involved. There’s a lot of crew involved. There’s a lot of tech involved, filming in 4K. But that’s boring stuff.

“It’s going to look largely the same, but we’ve moved it on a bit in a way that I can’t really tell you about yet because you’re the enemy and it’s secret!”

The Grand Tour will return to Amazon Prime Video in October 2017.

Hopefully he's referring to the American and Celebrity Brain Crash...

The Grand Tour Will Be Back On Amazon Prime This October

If the re-rebooted Top Gear still wasn’t your thing and you’re still hungry for more of Clarkson, Hammond and May, the second season of The Grand Tour will hit Amazon Prime this October.

I don’t know if it’s just the fact that I’ve been closely following American politics for the last few months and my grasp of time is extremely warped, but it seems like the first season of The Grand Tour came out years ago by now, which is not the case!

Either way, we’ll soon have plenty to talk about as it seems James May has confirmed the show will be back this October, via a note from a radio appearance mentioned on Drivetribe. The only snippets from the new season we really know of is that it was set to start filming as soon as the last season wrapped up, and that Richard Hammond almost died again. Come on Richard, you have to stop doing that!

I still haven’t finished up the first season, only missing the last episode-and-a-half, but I’m always open to new content from the old Top Gear trio for those summer weeks where I need something to stream through with no real consequences. Bring it on, I guess.

I dont know, Grand Tour was a bit over the top for me with some really cheesy studio stuff. I quite like the new Top Gear. But i have episodes to watch of both
