My only complaint with that ladder is that if you’re going to spend long periods of time on one then the narrow rungs eventually make your feet ache. I prefer the wider rung steps but generally those ladders cost a lot more
Yeah, as much as you are not supposed to be working barefoot or in plakkies, that's just what I am used to and dread climbing my ladder when I need to use it.. I already know the pain that awaits before I even set barefoot on the first rung..

That's the thing, I have seen someone fall from the ladder collapsing. Then again not sure if it was locked properly or just crappy quality...

Personally I had one of these ladders for a good few years, and it was fine for at least 4 years, and then those damn hinges got dodgy AF... almost broke my damn leg when they collapsed and the ladder folded backwards with me on it.

For that reason I avoid those ladders like the plague now and just by decent extendable ones.

Mine the hinge literally broke when I was 4m up - fortunately it was a slow down - I was up top fitting this flood light with the ladder fully extended.

This one must be around 15 years old - I bought another one, but the quality wasn't nearly the same - so I returned it.

I still use this ladder after drilling and putting in bolts - and planks - and ducttape - but - I use it as pictured, won't fully extended it again. Still need to find a decent stable replacement.

Nah, they'll see it if they look directly at it, but I've pointed it as far down as possible - its almost perpendicular to the wall.

We had a wall jumper who hid in some cupboards I'd just removed that were standing outside - hence the installation.

I have 65kg of this....and had to drag her out half asleep, I think she stumbled past the guy and went back to bed. Probably better for his case.

Pic doesn't do her justice. I'm 1.87m, and she looks down on me with her paws on my shoulders. (Although, she's 12 next year, so no more paws on shoulders - and pushing the limits of her age expectancy :( )

Thanks for the feedback, will compare pricing between the multi-folding and the A-Frame step ladder type. Its just the latter takes up too much space.
