Ive got one and its the best tool I have ever purchased, Ive used it for holes up to 20mm used it to remove tiles, knock down a brick wall, hang up multiple items.
Decided to go cordless and Makita for the interchangeable batteries.
For me it made sense to get a cordless one because I mainly use it for 6mm - 8mm holes for most things around the house and by the time I get an extension cable out the cordless drill has already drilled the hole and its job done.
I have 3 x 3ah batteries which I used across all the tools and it lasts quite a while on the SDS, depending on size and depth of the hole.
Ive also got the Makita impact driver and a separate combination drill (with hammer) the hammer drill works well but cannot compete with the SDS and because its cordless takes the mission out of conecting a cable up. I use the impact driver and SDS the most out of all my tools.
Just over 3k
here which is where I got my drill from.
