I've been checking out the latest Dual Band Gigabit routers and these are the players I've found so far:

DIR-855 Xtreme N Duo Media Router (with USB) - http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=548

DIR-825 Xtreme N Dual Band Gigabit Router (with USB) - http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=681

Belkin Double N+ Wireless Router (with USB, which apparently does nothing :() - http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=505381

Netgear Rangemax WNDR3700 Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router - [ame]http://www.amazon.com/Netgear-Rangemax-WNDR3700-Wireless-N-Gigabit/dp/B002HWRJY4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1262359718&sr=1-3[/ame]

=====================

Checked some reviews and so far, both the Netgear and Linksys surprisingly reported dissapointing 5Ghz speeds. Checking the others still

They all have pros and cons. No ultimate. I'd go with the DIR-855.

Yeah, its a freeking tough decision. The Belkin is off the list as they saying it doesnt have 5Ghz support. Strange for a dual band device.

I'm kinda leaning towards the Linksys 610. All in all it seems the best performer. Anyone else's opinion who thinks which one they would prefer and why?

I have been using a D-Link DIR-855 for almost a year now and I am really happy with it - no hiccups, good connection speeds even through multiple walls. Also linked it up with a D-Link DGS-1008D for extra Gigabit ports and works seamless. Unfortunately I have no experience with the other routers so I can't provide a comparison.

Wow, if these babies had integrated ADSL support, I would definitely also be interested. Why do the ADSL routers always lag behind?
