As I grow wiser (read older) I wish there were things I knew earlier.
In this thread maybe we can share in life's little lessons that faired us well and which we are grateful for.
Here goes:
Best lesson I got was from a welder called Oom Pottie.
Some 20 years ago he advised me to put whatever I could afford into an Retirement Annuity. Back then it was scary. Lots of forms and manual paperwork. I didn't even know what a RA was truth be told. He kindly explained it to me.
Best decision ever. I made compound interest my slave.
