So we invested in a gas oven this weekend.

Today Choccy baked her first batch of bananananana muffins. It taste better and baking time was definitely quicker than a normal electric (thermofan) oven.



Will post our successes and failures in here.

Did you ever put a thermometer in the old electric and new gas ovens? They are probably at different actual temperatures - hence the different cooking times.

Yesterday evening we baked a couple of cupcakes and a swiss roll.

Everything came out perfect.

It is so nice not to be dependent on electricity for baking and cooking anymore.
