Ironic. Before Musk bought stake in twitter, the internet was fine.
Now everything must decentralize![]()
Closing 50k cp accounts makes him the opposite of a d00sPeople finally starting to realize that Musk is a d00s?
I miss the 2000s internet. Sure websites didn't look as great as they do now and the internet speed was a little kak. But you had so many awesome and unique websites and forums and not 1000s of trackers etc. Most of them are gone now
My router light is white -- does that count?Router light is green, internet is fine.
Untill your packets cannot access certain services or networks because of the country of origin, or destination.Depends what you define as the "internet". Personally for me the internet is the TCP/IP stack on the WAN interface of my router with a public IP address. Everything else that runs on top of that is fluff. If you look at it that way there's nothing wrong with the internet.
So they are joining the conservatives then. Fascists emphasize the us vs them narrative to drive fear or outrage.Ironic.
Decentralization benefits freedom of speech. Which is what Elon is promoting.
The left are today's fascists.
Those blokes from Bryanston weren't dom.People finally starting to realize that Musk is a d00s?
Bryanston High School.Source?
Forums are not much different from old school BBSs. So I guess you need to go preinternet for the peak of “internet”.The fact of the matter is peak internet is internet forums. I don't have as much fun on "modern" social media as I have here.

Sound like the conservatives and the liberals over the last few decades.
Some good socialist decentralisation sounds like a good thing right now.
Oh gawd... a *komminist hyter" enters the pub...No, the internet is not broken. It is working perfectly well. What is happening here, is that the new global communist movement - the Democratic regimes, Socialist regimes and Communist regimes are looking at taking over the internet and controlling every aspect thereof or business operating thereon. They do not want freedom or freedom of speech. They want people to fear what they say, write and do. They want to control what people say, write and do.
This needs to be prevented at all cost.
The internet is not broken so long as I can get to my destination fast. It is not broken just because you choose the wrong destination
