The internet is fine

People are broken and sadly there's no fix
At least in the real world, when someone says something monumentally stupid, he must deal with the possibly of getting beat up for it.

Remind me again how many politicians got beaten up in 2022?

If you sit back for a minute and think about it, he has a very valid point. Your history, be it Youtube, Google whatever eventually suggests and highlights subjects more in line with your history of viewing. And obviously keeps getting darker and darker. I have had evenings watching youtube where if you just keep on following the suggestions you end up on some pretty messed up shyte on youtube after a few hours xD
Still depends on the clicks you make. You have a choice to escape the wormhole and go in a different direction.

Socialism = community or local controlled.
That's not how it translates in reality. You need regulations (and sometimes control of production) as well as distribution of social services by a centralized body. Can be heavenly if the right people (calibre, morality, education etc). are fulfilling the role. Can be a total flop and nightmare if not.
Central control are common across communism, syndicalism and facism.
