Nobody should preorder any game period. It's not like they gonna run out of the game and you're not saving money preordering. You'll also have to put up with the initial bugs as with gta v.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be an awesome game though...

But I want to play RDR2 from day one. And I am saving money by preordering. Most local online retailers have lower prices for preorders - PC games on CDKeys even more so. The preorder incentives aren't a big deal, but no point giving them up if you want to play at release.

On the other hand stuff like this sometimes makes me doubt my choice of going Sony console, they just hold back on too many things that Xbone gets

Definitely don't regret going PS4 instead of XB1. The XB1 exclusives are available on PC, whereas the PS4 ones are not and are a fair chunk of the best games of the generation. Uncharted 4, God of War, Spider-man, Horizon: Zero Dawn etc.
