There’s no quick fix for SARS - Kieswetter

The new head of South Africa’s tax agency says rebuilding the organization will be a long haul after management was “dismantled” and it lost public trust.

“In the five months I’ve been there we’ve done a significant amount of work, but it’s not a one-trick pony -- it’s a multi-dimensional, multifaceted piece of work,” South African Revenue Service Commissioner Edward Kieswetter said in an interview at Bloomberg’s Johannesburg office Thursday. if someone does us all a favour and gets the ConCourt to rule on a real tax revolt SARS will be fixed instantly, there's nothing for them to do if there's no tax revenue to collect ...

Sounds like Kieswetter is reading from Gordhan's playbook of excuses.

SARS is not the issue.

The ANC government is.

There is more than enough money to fix SA, but that money gets lost in the ANC.
Sjoe that a bit harsh .....

I wont go that far to say its lost. The payments go to specific people :)

South African Revenue Stealers can fk off.

This. They cannot appoint morons like that IT head and expect the taxpayer to pick up the tab when things fark up.

Oh don't point a finger at the Shamzilla, you'll be told what an excellent job she's going to do someday she manages to get off her arse..

Kieswetter said he’s met with labor unions and about 90% of the institution’s staff to share his plans for the future.
So the other 10% are the corrupt ones? Nice of them to identify themselves like that. :X3:
