Debonairs? Ewwww. There's lots of better pizza places than Domino's and Debonairs. If I had to pick between the two then I go for Domino's rather.
Perhaps but non of them deliver hot pizza ordered and tipped from my phone with ease such as Debonairs.

Does Starbucks even exist in Cape Town? Not that they would survive down here...Cape Town being the hipster capital of SA and all.

So many good coffee shops!

Uber Eats not an option?

I have Pizza Perfect, Pizza del Forno and La Mama options, and there's an Andiccio's as a backup here.

I love Domino's, oddly. I think it's that strange crack (aromat?) spicing that's on their bases. And their mango jalapeno dipping sauce. Starbucks can FO, Seattle all the way.

Taste pissed away money when they bought the Domino's licence and rebranded Scooters. I'm no fan over their cornflower bases.

Even the corner shops sell better coffee than Starcucks. From what I've tasted so far, it's like hot horse piss with sugar and caffeine powder thrown in.

Its not aromat, its corn-flour. Col Cachio also started using it. I also quite like it.

We tried Domino's 4 times before we gave up. Burnt, wrong change brought, wrong amount charged, and our online order "didnt go through"
Its no wonder they are doing badly.

Dominos is probably the worst pizza in SA at the moment, by far the worst franchise, not that any of the franchises have a scratch on the independent pizza places.

Starbucks is okayish, and that's only because I can only go there once a year, and they allow you to add as many shots of espresso into a cafe mocha as you want, if they were closer I would go tired of them quickly.

Edit: Might aswel say why I dislike Dominos: They are over priced, their pizzas are dry and the base tastes like nothing if you dust the corn flower off, the tomato sauce tastes the same as scooter, leaves a terrible chemical aftertaste.
Only positive thing I can say is that at one point they had pretty good dipping sauces (the chili sauce, kicker or something) but then they F* ed it up by making a cheaper version in a bigger tub that tastes like bleach.

Revenue declined 3% to R470 million, from R483 million before, with an operating loss of R87 million.

Wonder what the other loss was from their luxury brand division. I think in 2017 they actually made net profit from their food division, but was dragged down into overall negative profit by the luxury division.

Looking at the current year of their finances of -R240 mil netto profit, doesn't look too good.
