I keep saying to everyone please go ahead and change ALL the names to an African name
The sooner the better

I also see the name changes as a good thing, people will remember the thing or place and its previous name along with its previous state which is pretty much always vastly better.
The new names will be associated with the current and future state which is mostly in rapid decline across the board.
