Not listing DFA as a major player is a mistake imo.

Pretty sure they own more fibre than say VC, MTN, Cell C combined.
 
DFA provides infrastructure to just about all of those named...
 
I don't know, but doesn't DFA connect its fibre to one or more of the named players?
They're effectively the landlord.

Not only does DFA own a big chunk of the active fibre but they also own a *massive* amount of fibre that is currently unlit but could be lit at a moments notice. Guess why they're called Dark Fibre...

Wish they'd list...but thats not happening.
 
Interested to see how telkom's share price will do in the next few years now with all this revamping and stepping up to the plate

Not fibre carrying internet traffic I dont think.
Most of their fibre is connecting base stations to the relevant cell network.

Only fairly recently have they been using their fibre to sell significant wholesale internet capacity

I would have listed them in the top section myself
