Then that schools management is crap. At my kid's school they give warning forms if it's minor, meeting and warning form if it's a major transgression. 3 forms or 1 very major transgression and your contract is canceled. Hasn't happened yet but this isn't a "rich man's" school so I can imagine at a school full of rich people your scenario might just be expected.

That school had the worst headmaster imaginable. Took my kids out and put them in a Model-C school.

New school is outside our catchment area, but my kids' academics and sport, got them in.

Much happier now...

Why? There's bullying in private schools too though he might be lucky and end up in the water polo team at Bishop's.

Outlawing slurs is stupid, outlawing the blind discrimination (socially not criminally) behind the slurs makes more sense, "engelse" is also a slur sometimes.... it's a normal innocent word.

Bullied Kempton Park pupil attempted suicide after video of assault went viral - report

The Hoërskool Kempton Park pupil who was brutally attacked in one of the school's bathrooms has attempted to commit suicide since a video of the incident went viral, The Star reported.

In the video, a burly boy could be seen punching the smaller boy's head, kicking him in the ribs and wrapping him in a stranglehold before picking him up and throwing him to the floor. Other pupils looked on as the boy was assaulted, News24 previously reported.

You can imagine my disappointment when at the cinema I didn't get to see Frikkie flying around singing a R Kelly song.

PE Grey Junior pupil needs facial surgery following alleged bullying

The pupil who allegedly attacked him has been suspended.

A pupil at the prestigious Grey Junior School in Port Elizabeth requires surgery to his face following an alleged bullying incident on Monday.

The incident took place during school hours and the pupil was rushed to hospital.

The pupil who allegedly attacked him has been suspended.

Eastern Cape education department spokesperson Mali Mtima confirmed the incident to News24, but said he could not elaborate on the exact circumstances because he was still awaiting a report.

“As far as I have been informed, the pupil will undergo surgery to his face,” Mtima said.

He added that the suspended pupil would still be allowed to write exams..
