I want to see some speed tests, if i see speeds of 300kb/s, im selling my soul to the devil to upgrade to 1mbit 2morrow. How long will 1mbit be upped to 4mbit? Is it going to stay like this forever or is this a teaser to make u want to forkout R1000 a month line rental?
WAN Port Statistics:
Link Status: Up
Upstream Speed: 128 kbps
Downstream Speed: 384 kbps
It was 512 Down and 256 Up on the 2nd of June 2006.
I have been keeping a record since February last year with all the WAN connection speeds on my line.
My download rate has also been upgraded to 4096kbits/s, looks like they've learned a bit from the 384K ordeal and has decided to prepare a bit more (that and there are no doubt less 1024K lines they have to upgrade).
Oh, worth pointing out however that the actual download rate on the network has *not* been upgraded yet. Something tells me that'll only happen on the 1st. But I'm excited indeed (oh why does August have to have 31 days!).
Thats an "old news" downgrade. All 192/384 became 1 and the sync rates of 384 lines started reading as 384 lines. The upload rate of the old 384 line has been downgraded to 128kbps. You are not alone, i also had a 384 line and when i checked these new sync rates and the super slow speeds i decided enough was enough and i went for the 1mb line.
