And their mm/dd/yyyy.

But yeah - their unit of measure drives me crazy too, especially when dealing with engineering drawings and part measurements.

Stand in the queue at the post office to do a change of ownership for two and a half hours. Get to within three spaces of being served, the desk closes and says to come back tomorrow.

2 boxes arrive at different times packed with random personal effects. One has been opened and selectively gone through so 1/4 of the contents are missing. The 2nd also had items selectively removed BUT someone else's parcel was then sealed inside my box. I was told I was lucky because the other person's parcel in my box proves there was tampering and I'm not trying to defraud the post office because when people complain about tampering they normally ignore/humour them :erm:

Both boxes were opened at the bottom and then resealed the same way with the same darker coloured tape (and sealed so you wouldn't notice) so clearly the same person did it. Due to the tracking number on the other person's box I can track when our parcels were in the same hub, and when they were sent for delivery to the same banch.

I filled in one of the post office's investigation forms and was told I was the first one in years to fill one in and I was a difficult client because I wanted to report it.

...I used to look forward to going to the post office as a kid. Now I keep going in perpetual hope - like the kid in school who keeps running into walls because it's fun.

Car at the dealer for a warranty repair since 2 days, still no timeframe for the repair.

At the same time, for the first time I get a useless service customer agent assigned to my case (usually they are really good and keep you informed, I have to constantly chase this guy).

Getting better and better, tried to get the status of the car by calling 3 times, not able to reachnot a call back, the guy is never available so the car is in for a third day.

Can't possibly take 3 days to repair a failing SD card slot.

Going tomorrow and getting the car repaired or not as I need to go to Nelspruit.
