When you're writing a number on a form but decide your 5 doesn't look like a 5 so you try alter it and now it looks even less like a 5 but screw it, you tried so you just leave it and the person reading it must figure out if it's a 5, 6, 0 or 8.

The really pathetic attempts to trap me with spam emails. At least you could make it challenging - not so obvious. Make it a little bit interesting if I have to go through hundreds of messages. Entertain me.

Got one, so wanted to reply "piss off and die" to the scammer but don't want to tell said scammer that my email address is alive...

edit : the attachment was an image file which purported to be a PDF file, which was very, very dodgy.

Why do mail programs allow html docs as attachments ? Half the stuff would be removed if they did not allow sending of those files. And people should think logically - why are the sending me a web page and not a document. Though to be honest - I don't open PDFs either.

Some weeks the **** just doesn't end...

Monday: My son wrote his car off on the way from work. Rear ended an Audi Q7 (luckily an old one)
Today: Flat wheel on my car. Had to ask SWAMBO for a lift and will be at work from 6.30 till 5
Also today: Daughter scratched a car in a parking area while pulling into a parking spot.

If I could I would just go home and get back into bed. But I can't. Have to wait till 5 for my wife to fetch me...

They say bad luck comes in 3s. So technically your's should be over. On the plus side - a car is written off but your son is ok. You had a flat but were not attacked while you were on the side of the road. Your daughter scratched the car and didn't dent the panels.

Thanks. I am always the glass half empty type... Not so bad though.

Son wanted to sell his Polo and get an old fixer upper, but I think he learned the value of an airbag hard way. At least we should get close to retail value for his car.
My tyre only had a puncture. Supa Quick fixed it for R100
The owner of the car my daughter scratched will see if it can be polished out by the workshop where he works (it's only the plastic bumper) and if not will contact me with quote. It should be less than my excess.
