Power going out an hour after LS has ended. Probably a substation failure again.

Next LS is 16h00 - 18:30, then again 22:00 - 02:30.

I don't think this inverter battery will last :(

I heard that there are certain areas not being loadshet because the substations are so poorly, no idea how much truth there is to this but knowing how Eishkom does things.

Well, as it stands I already doubt that I'll be able to recharge the battery seeing as we have 5 - 7.5 hours of no power per day on stage 2. I can up the charging amps to 20A but at the expense of reduced lifetime which I'm not keen on doing. Now what with unplanned outages thrown in the mix it definitely won't be enough

EDIT: Here in PE I know for a fact that certain parts of Westering, Cotswold Extension, Framesby and Brickmaker's Kloof are unaffected. There could be more. This is out second power outage this year due to LS, so maybe we join that list soon

Some areas in Alberton seem almost always unaffected, especially if they are on the side of a koppie.

and now the fire alarm went off

we go outside to stand in 30°C sun

after 5 min everyone files back into the building....just to discover 50% of the people didn't even leave their desks.

and the alarm is still going

Real issue in offices this, they had a couple of drills in the previous company where the performance was woeful, then they had a unannounced drill where smoke canisters were used, long story short some people got trampled. Many many training days occurred after that, some dispicable men as well that run out before all the women have left the office.

A client has a macro that does the same thing on about 70 sheets. (almost 300 in the file) If you run each bit of code for each sheet in isolation - it is a few seconds each. If you run the whole macro it takes forever. Even if you split the macro into two and run both - it takes forever.

I am sure there is a non code solution. Going to try that when it stops
Eventually
