Well I have short hair - this hair is long. So not mine - but in a long, complicated way, it was part of me. Still grosses me out though. And yes - I hate public bathrooms of any sort.

I have a system in place for this - use the touch-free paper towel dispenser after washing hands, then use it to open the handle of the door, and then keep the door propped open with one of my feet and throw the used paper towel basketball-style into the receptacle on the other side of the room.

Of course not all restrooms are designed this way, but fortunately the one at work is

Our soap dispensers, taps, urinals and paper towel dispensers are all touch-free but the cisterns still have physical buttons but I just wrap my finger in some TP and press it that way - at least I have some sort of a buffer

I'm not a germaphobe at all, but some things just disgust me a little more than usual - after all, we have to build up an immunity somehow
