So they kept it on for 2 weeks? That's longer then five minutes no?
Yeah there are a lot of issues with the grid in Gauteng.

When you're opening a package and you simply pull on the tape cos no silly tape is going to stop you, and the tape becomes really thin but you still just try break it by hand and you nearly slice your fingers off.

When sick and need to take some medication, and you look for the dosage on the bottle, and it says, to refer to the leaflet for dosage information.

Or the chemist sticks their sticker all over the important info on the bottle

Two weeks would be something to celebrate indeed. Current streak is 4 days without a power failure:crying:

When you lose the end of the buff tape so you run your nail along the edge to "catch" it, only to realise you're going in the wrong direction and you're already done like 12 revolutions.
And then you catch the start and it peels a little thin strip ....

And the leaflet has been written in Chinese language

Yesterday been up at 0500. Roadtrip to remote site.

Got there at 10:45. Did the work, waited for support to finish configuring server, all good.

PM let me know that I need to collect another server en route to PTA as it's also giving issues (RAID issues).

So we did. Collect it en route, arrived back at odfice around 1530. Told appy to knock off for the day and enjoy the weekend, both of us were knackered from the long road.

Support then phoned, asking for assistance with another site. I was like 'meh, seriously?'. Then the PM mangler phoned. I did not answer, was just about pissed off, was tired, was hungry and just wanted to eat and sleep.

Had a Covid test on 19th April. To my surprise, Bonitas Hospital Plan paid for it, even though it was negative

Got email and statement from them yesterday, "credited in error" it says. I now owe them R850
