Drivers again. This morning I was the third car to arrive at a 4 way stop street. Then number 4 arrives and tries to sneak ahead of me when it was clearly my turn next

They all do.

Had a tannie trying to overtake and push in at the front, road was narrowing from her side. I stood my ground, she had plenty of time to see the road was narrowing, and she could slot in behind me.

Showed me the finger. I just ignored her. Wannabe Sarel van der Merwe.

Something up with drivers on Saturday. Everyone second person was a nut case. Saw 4 people running red lights (and they weren't even taxi's). Had to stop for a car that tried to turn in front of me. And that car passed the car in front of them at the stop street

Then while pulling out of a car park a car stopped and told us to stop being so rude. WTF? He had obviously had a few dops. As well as the other 4 youngsters in the car. My fok.

Also noticed the terrible driving on Saturday, first near Cresta. A car in the left lane stops at the red light, car in the middle lane stops, a third car swerves into the right turn only lane and floors it through the red light. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking it might be an emergency then saw him buying from the cafe at a garage a few blocks later????

The identical thing happened near Clearwater, two of us stopped at the red light, car screams up from behind and zooms through in the right turn only lane????

The fact that I have to sleep or my body starts malfunctioning. I understand the importance of good sleep and I sleep comfortably and soundly every night, but I would've preferred a world where sleeping was a voluntary thing that we do for pleasure. If you sleep 8 hours a day, that's a third of your life spent just laying there... So much could be learnt/done/experienced, but nooooo, biology says we need rest time.

I would like it to be sort of like Sunday afternoon naps, but having the ability to go the week without sleeping, unless of course you choose to. Sleeping should be a hobby, not a basic requirement of functionality.

Quite bad toothache. Appointment for dentist 8.00am this Monday. Got there 10 mins early. At 8.30 my dentist’s nurse walks past and asks reception why I am there since dentist is off all week!

Instead of apologising and slotting me in with another dentist, they started to have an argument. As I was there, another patient arrived for the same dentist. This patient and I went to see the clinic manager. Another useless person, all she did was pick up her phone to confirm the dentist was off. “There is nothing I can do” we heard.

The reception lady is the first one to go, her left front incisor sent flying through the air, the result of a stunning upper-cut from the middle-aged lady that looks... almost like Helen Mirren? And was sitting in the corner since before you came in.
You instinctively raise your arms in defense as the nurse comes charging past you towards Helen. This is seen as an attack and you are now in a one versus one with someone who has hurt you in ways you know people shouldn't hurt.

"Time for revenge. Revenge against the gum stabbing, revenge against the insinuations that if only you flossed more..., revenge against... wait, she's only the nurse?"

Her right hook hits you before you can finish the thought. It makes you takes a step back. Quite a hefty shot for such a small frame.

"Can't have tooth ache if you have no teeth!" she sneers at you as she lunges forward with another vicious punch.
You manage to raise your knee just in time, landing perfectly in her abdomen and she crumbles down, the wind and the fight, knocked out of her.

The rest of the waiting room stands in awe. Helen is clapping. The receptionist mumbles through bloody lips,
"The dentist will be with you shortly."

I understand the viewer's focus needs to be on this man arse but do they really need to cut the whole sky and a third of the road for it.

Quality sleep is really important to how the day goes. I was far too restless last night. Today, consequently, the hamster wheel feels like a grindstone. 3 hours to go!
