That would be nice but I have less than a year of work experience. If they read my LinkedIn or CV they would have known that I'm not qualified. I'm assuming if you are senior then you would have juniors under you, how would that work

And if you are not successful in the application, ask them for feedback on areas they feel you need to develop...

Do yourself a favour:

To disable automatic updates on Windows 10 permanently, use these steps:

1. Open Start.
2. Search for gpedit.msc and click the top result to launch the Local Group Policy Editor.
3. Navigate to the following path:
   Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update
4. Double-click the Configure Automatic Updates policy on the right side.

5. Check the Disabled option to turn off automatic updates permanently on Windows 10.

Alternatively park on the pavement of the person he's collecting from.

Because often "alternative viewpoint" is a euphemism for lie or fallacy. A bit like "Alternative facts"

They're not presented as fiction but as "alternative truths".

We grow intellectually by debates and seeing all view points. Truth is also censored by banning alternative view points and for those in power who do not want the truth seen that is just what they want.

Theoretically. However, just looking at the religious extremes and how popular they are shows that too many people do not have the capacity to grow by debate or seeing all viewpoints. Thus widespread broadcasting of fallacies is dangerous. It was fine when it was your average lunatic shouting his nonsense at speaker's corner, but grant him a worldwide audience and echo chamber and suddenly it's not a laughing matter any more.

There's a balance to be found, I'm sure - but this is a brave new world where previous self-regulating boundaries no longer exist...

Haha, he doesn't really want "debates and seeing all viewpoints". He just want someone else on the internet to confirm all the biases that he already has.

Anyone not seeing any other viewpoints will definitely be biased. To overcome bias, listen and read and understand other views. I was brought up in apartheid and that view and bias was seen as normal, although I could sense it was wrong as a child.
