Sigh the need to hire BEE candidates only for the last 6 years, HR seems to think anyone who's touched a PC is deserving of an interview, the last person could barely answer any simple questions, the next CV doesn't look really promising either.
Thank you ANC, instead of hiring the best for the job, I've got to try find the best out of the bleh.

We've got a Microsoft digital course. Basically an intro to using a pc. 5 Days course. So plenty of the community gets send but never pass. End of day 5 they get an attendance certificate (Not an achievement certificate), then all poses infront of the company logo, big smiles, selfies. That's when i go home and drink.

That isn't a bad initiative to be honest and I can understand why a lot don't pass. But what gets to me is, the position is Linux, we get sent Microsoft stuff and barely any of that.

What role are you hiring for?

Eish, you must try the wasted cost of a strategic decision to try and become BEE compliant; reduce the score anyway. Just the fee for annual BEE certification is painful. All totally unproductive.

I can imagine, but sadly large corps need to comply, cause you know this is a democracy.

so now because of the junior level of admins I've had to hire, my project is delayed a week and it has annoyed my network admin, as the "network" admin issue was actually a config on the servers issue.
Sigh and they've already installed 10 others, just these 4 for some reason.

Well if it's an explosion then it will probably take many hours.

Sausage dogs. The thickest noise and s h i t generators ever known.
Good guard dogs though. Can trigger larger dogs.

A good sausage dog will give creepsy and tricksy ne'er-do-wells a run for their money.

But ya, the noise and scheiße... better than the big lumps from Great Danes though.

People in public watching videos, listen to music, etc on their phones in public without headphones.
Was on a flight the other day and the girl in the row behind me was doing this. She looked so offended when she was asked to switch it off.
