Wanting to make toast , and thinking while looking at my Philips 4 slot toaster that it's been so reliable (over 10 years) and still looks so good. I had that thought because it looked a bit more shinier than usual.

Reality then hits - it's no longer working. Why does everything feel wrong on it. Think the domestic used water or something to clean inside and outside.

Decided to leave it in the sun for an hour ... just plugged it back in ... woohoo it's working again. Now about the last 1 hour I wasted, searching for another 4 slot Philips toaster (which doesn't seem to be for sale in South Africa)

Domestic getting told off on Monday and now I hope my toaster gives another 10 years of service - she is probably gonna be gone in 2 months at the rate she's going.
