Breakdown Mondays

Make arrangements for first thing, boss changes plan, re arrange things, 5 min later, boss changes again

Plus a load of smaller niggles that all need attention immediately.

When you don't measure something or find out the exact details, so now you're at the store and have to guess if it's the 5mm one or the 6mm, and you inevitably buy the wrong one or say screw it, you buy both cos you can't be bothered to come back.
Even if you're working with tools - ah yes, this looks like I'll need the 10 spanner. But do I bring the entire toolbox just in case or at least bring a few options? Nope, I bring only the 10 and obviously it's too small so I trek back to the toolbox to get the 12 because it's definitely the 12 aaaand this one is too big so another trip.
I am not a smart man.

Too lazy to measure things if something to measure is not at hand

Got a trick though, take a foto of it with something for scale, I use my car keys for washers and seals especially

Then compare at the store

Everything is damn expensive, especially if you don't follow a strict budget

I should be okay currently with rent being the only constant just above 1/3 of my income, yet I'm falling short every month, especially this month being 6 weeks between payday's

Need to either pay attention ant plan my spending, or get a cheaper flat, both of which are damn shleps.

Install new SSD and RAM in my wife's 1 year old HP laptop as the 5400 1TB is dog slow and Windows 11 doesn't seem to like 8GB, Windows 11 takes it's time to install and then sits at Getting Devices ready, attempting to install again to see.
