This could be an interesting topic.

We like doing weird stupid stuff like we did a planned emergency drill on the Guatrain a few months ago where everyone had to evacuate to the emergency tunnel and wait there for 3 hours till 1AM :p

That was fun.

Also took a drive to Harties late in the afternoon, took photos at the damn and drive all the way back, just because why not.

We've gone exploring JHB Central and PTA Central on foot (running mostly in JHB...that place is dodge...)

Gone to markets and wine tasting events and last month we went to the Craft Beer Festival.

Starting to run out of ideas :D

Go for a walk on the beach.
Find a small bohemian town nearby and go shopping and go explore the town.
Fine dining is always a positive.
Find somewhere strange and obscure to go on a photography outing.

Me and SWAMBO, do lots of active things, we used to go hiking in the mountains, 3-5 day hiking trails (we have not done that in a while due to my bad knees :()
We like doing the road trip thing, pack a tent etc. drive anywhere till its dark and find the nearest camping site.
We go white river rafting in Parys.
Game drives when we can.
Fishing, she likes to cast the lines in the most after I taught her, she does not like waiting so long for fishies to get hooked so she uses her second rod and only tie a sinker on and she will cast the whole time... weird women...
She recently bought a kite, I already had one so now we fly kites too. last weekend she went and bought a stunt kite. The wind up till now have not been ideal for a test flight so she is upset about that...
Over the festive seasons every year we go to hospitals and old age homes to give out sweets and keep lonely people company.

Try to find hobbies that allow both to participate and improve.

I recently started mountain biking with the SO, and while progress is slow, it's getting there. Much more fun to have a reliable partner to go with, too.

I tried that too. Didn't end well. Seems I am a bit too competitive, and she hated me cycling off in the distance (I would always come back for a bit). We tried squash, and I lost my cool at that useless sport. I am too competitive.

In the begging it was difficult but now she is the one waking me up saying we must go and ride. She "started" cycling almost a year ago but its only the last 2 months where things really started to take off! I used to love the me time of cycling but i enjoy it WAY more doing it with her.

There still are good people on this earth :)

Indeed, wasn't expecting that.

We go to shows quite often, all kinds, from comedy to musicals, our theatre is quite decent and not too expensive, discount tickets all over the place.
Walk at least 2 - 3 times a week with the dogs around 4km and the odd hike when in the mood.

We arrange activities every second weekend, thereby balancing life out a bit.

Over the past 4-5 months:
Archery lesson
Horse riding
Take a drive out to the country side and explore new/other places
Like jaco, we've taken random camping road trips (300-400km outside cape town
Doing a 3-4 hour hiking trail
Rock climbing (in door)
Spend a few hours volunteering at an animal shelter or the likes (admittedly, I do not like it and the SO leaves saddened, but at the end you are contributing to those animals)
Not really outdoors, but what about cooking something interesting? Jokes aside about who belongs in the kitchen; we spend a whole day together from selecting and buying fresh produce at a farmers market to preparing something exotic/different.

Haha. Can't you suppress that competitiveness? Otherwise anything you do together could get spoiled. :|

Nice. It's pretty great having to not be the only enthusiastic person for these kinds of things.

Cut into tiny pieces. Put in separate black bags. Bury parts in at least 5 different locations.
