The people who speak languages properly are mostly those who learnt from the native speakers of the language, so as much as other resources are good it will make a big difference to actually bounce off a few words and phrases of someone who knows the language.

Besides just knowing the words there is pronunciation, idioms and sayings, so Google while helpful is not always the best.

I can speak passable isiZulu as well as isiXhosa, but my pronunciation is atrocious.
