Some of those who go live in Germany actually do. One of my parents' neighbours' sons spent over 4 years in Italy and speaks the language. A relative speaks Spanish.
Anecdotal overload...it just gets better and better every time you need one.

Except it's not. Without evidence, your statement easily qualifies as "an account regarded as unreliable or hearsay". (I Googled anecdote as requested).

Same. The gyres and their ilk exposed themselves nice and proper there :)
