Yes, that is crazy.

Many of the poor people never had a chance at decent education (and some just missed their opportunities or squandered it).

The onslaught against the middle class must stop and more from the poor must be brought into it.

Instead the 1 percenters are getting wealthier and the poor poorer with some falling out of the middle class.

Wishing people away is not the answer.
