Not their fault that we live in a Banana Republic with a valueless currency.

I wasn't saying fuk off to Moldova...it was aimed at the lawyer sharks, named in the article, that's selling this.

Hmm, yes.

I would love to have a EU passport, but don't have that sort of cash lying around.

46 000 Euro that is lost to fees.

Then EUR 100,000 invest in the PIC.

An issue I have with Maldovo is the main language is Romanian and second language is Russian, then Ukrainian, French and English. Communication is going to be hard.

The Maltese route is "cheaper" I think. Just need to buy property valued at R2mil and they give you a passport. I believe Portugal has something similar, too. Clearly the better option, as at least you're investing the money into something you'll own.

Last time I checked it was something like 220K Euros which is 3.6 million rand for one area of the island and its more than R4 million if is a house in another area if the island.

Uninformed

Really? Hardly ...having lived in 3 countries and holding a Brit passport....

What's so fab about Panama? Shithole I say again...like most of Central America.

Panama Crime
Crime levels are high, and we're not talking about petty theft here. Violent crime such as armed robberies (which have been known to occur in restaurants),shootings, rape, muggings, car theft, car jackings, and 'express kidnappings' from ATM machines, just to name a few – and that's just in Panama city.

Panama is one of the more unequal countries in the world. With a consumption Gini of 49 and an income Gini of 60, Panama's inequality ranks among the highest — on par with Brazil and just below South Africa, two of the most unequal countriesin the world. Panama's poorest are very poor and the richest are very rich.

So not really different to SA then.

Maybe less racism ?
