So. Much. Hype!
I would love to know what this will cost. No point hyping up Rain so much if they are going to be stupidly expensive.

The conclusion that I'm making, is that they will be stupidly expensive.

So much hype and lots of middlemen.

The packages will probably be similar to the current iBurst pricing.
20GB for R199p/m, R10/GB OOB
50GB for R399p/m, R8/GB OOB
100GB for R599p/m, R6/GB OOB

https://www.facebook.com/iBurst/
If they offer better than those Iburst prices I can see them growing quick and fast. They can be a market disruptor if they work hard at it.

As long as they educate home customers to use wifi on their mobiles :)

I was also hoping that they would come in cheaper than the Cell C Giga packages considering the limited coverage.

Was hoping for something closer to R89 for 10GB p/m, R149 for 20GB p/m, R299 for 50GB p/m etc.

Would be really great if Web Africa/MWeb would include a free Rain 1 or 2GB monthly LTE package with their larger ADSL packages to generate some interest.

I had a look at the coverage where I stay and it looks very similar to Telkom's coverage.

Could it be that they are sharing towers?

Will be incredibly expensive since this will be IS and focused on "Business"

This could be an interesting alternative to fibre that is currently only installed in "rich" areas!
