Well worth any bribe. They still remain in the Citibank Index and investment houses who are still invested locally are not forced (yet) to withdraw their clients' capital. A direct downgrade to Junk would have spurred billions of Dollars in fleeing capital this week alone.

stop believing everything you read in the press so blindly, we've had a negative outlook before, just after Zuma's one big stunt, it means NOTHING

incidentally at the same time both S&P and Fitch downgraded our rating without changing our outlook first

oh and in 2008 all three including Moody's downgraded ratings all over the place for subprime derivatives without changing the outlook first

that also happened to be the time when they were fined because they were caught tampering with ratings in exchange for ... money ... oops, factually, on record, they've taken bribes before

Properties are not selling anywhere close to their listed price. Based on very small sample of 10 houses I checked in last 1 year.
