This is why you should never take parking advice from car guards

I don't even take advice from them in Shopping parking lots... never mind on public roads.

Ai. Whoever pays a car guard first?

Try telling them that when you go to the rugby. They demand parking beforehand, or something bad will happen

And then you get back and they're long gone.

Luckily I don't have this problem any more, but the point remains.

Always ignore these little fsckers, and if it is a legit parking place I pay the legit way, not to them like a lot of them want you to do.

Thankfully in terms of sporting events and such in Durban there is always legit parking nearby.

Once had an encounter where a car-guard demanded R50 to park on a public road (in Greenside), when I told him to get lost he went ballistic and started calling me all sorts of profanities. As we were with family I gave him R20 to diffuse the situation.

But these guys are not car-guards, they are basically aggressive beggers with a knack for spoiing your evening
