Not 25 years. The effects are cumulative so it will go from slowly devolving to suddenly dropping off a cliff pretty quickly. This is not scary. It is for those who never thought this would happen and those who do not understand how an economy works. This was expected and predicted all along. You can see the consequences in the private sector. You can see the consequences in declining tax revenue. You can see the consequences in governments' ability to render services. South Africa has crossed the threshold of no return. It is game over for the country. It has fallen already, but the effects will only be felt in about 25 years from now.
I give it no more than 10 with a high probability of 7 years to fail fully.
