Super rare

At least she got a discount and they gave her more for her Polo than VW wanted to give.

Yeh - anything better than the current price. There's no way I'd buy one at that price, you could get a two year old one for almost R100k less.

What are the costs like owning a Suzuki, what are repair/service bills and spares costs etc like?

New you're sorted of covered. Out of service plan its OK if you don't use dealers.

Personally, I wouldn't use them if I didn't have to for the warranty anyway.

As an owner of a Suzuki-
1. Spares are damn cheap
2. The vehicles are easy to repair and maintain.
3. The vehicles last, if you look after them.

Which Suzuki's, old Jimny models or the newer/current models incl cars?

Dealer spares are cheap, relative to what?

I wouldnt say spares are cheap, not if you're buying them from Suzuki - they wanted R11 for a small bolt/screw.

I've yet to find cheap dealer pricing from any brand, sometimes their prices are just nice enough not to reduce you to tears upon paying. The worst are the body fittings, set of 6 clips to hold a plastic cover down, R800... Each side.

Apparently they are super capable off road as well. I'm possibly looking at one.

In the process of selling mine :) Was lots of fun, and took us everywhere - but time for more space.
