The point of a forum is to air your opinions and understanding of a topic and then have meaningful discussions about the topic hopefully coming to an agreement or in the least understanding each others point of view.
Have you actually been on the internet at all before now? 'understanding' and 'meaningful discussions' and 'about the topic' are 3 things that seldom happen.

100% correct. I'm not saying it's fairies and bunnies, I do however find a lot of the threads actually have meaningful discussions. Understanding, rarely but it does happen. Staying on topic, only when we used to talk about JZ.

Shouldn't we ask the same question of all the white people that move around the world?
I assume most white people that emigrate at the moment don't travel through many countries to reach a "nice" one, and then just beg to be let in on asylum reasons.
Usually it's skilled migration. They offer something that the destination country needs, and then there is a decision whether or not they should be let in.

That said, I really feel for the migrants. Imagine being so desperate that you would take a boat ride to South America, travel through many countries in the hope that the Land of Opportunity (tm) lets you in.
I hope I never have to experience the desperation someone fleeing Syria for example must feel, to entrust a dodgy mofo with a boat to get you and your children in to France, knowing that your odds are slim.

That's true for everyone. Being from different backgrounds, our worldviews and opinions are different.

Back OT, if you go back to my interaction with OP, you'll notice there were no hostilities. Then entered the the 2 gentlemen...

I'm not fond of politicians, but I acknowledge good work when I see it.

This is a pretty good indication of how well these governments look after their own people.
Migrants: "Thanks goodness our own people in our own government look after us so well. Let's hop on a ship and go to a racist buffoon's country that will hate us and show them how it is done".

I imagine those few Africans already have family in US who they want to join illegally. Otherwise I would imagine Europe is much easier to get into.

What's with the fascination with the evil capitalistic west, why would the prime evil we hear about every day attract so many people?

We also hearabout how great communism is, it's so great they had to build a wall to keep people in, surely if it's so great people would wanna stay and outsiders would flock to it or not?

Had MPLA and UNITA mixed up. Thought DRC renounced communism back in the 70s.
Yeah, they went full on socialism after that(?)
I honestly don't know enough about them to give any indepth info, but what I do know is from 70s and on the continent is now full of failed socialist and communist states, doesn't matter which, its all the same result, dictators, death, war, poverty, starvation etc etc which results in people fleeing north and west for a dream they were sold by some opportuniistic trafficers

Make like Moses at the red sea and open a path to Canada. Trudeau will welcome them to paradise with open arms.
