Thousands of Hikvision cameras in South Africa affected by critical security flaw

This is exactly why I have all my IP cameras on a separate VLAN with no internet access on my network. The only device that can access my cameras is my Synology NAS. They have no way of connecting to the internet at all.
Work is the same. Cameras do not have any internet access at all, only the DVR.

MK Ultra Remote Viewers can still see everything your cameras can.

I have something similar too. Different subnet completely, only my Pi can read from the camera server, then it hosts its own http stream of the incoming video that other clients can see

Is there a way to see if my system is affected?
Hikvision, Dahua, uniview and virtually all China dvr systems are affected.

This is one of the reasons these manufacturers are being banned in the US and Europe.

Additionally the ethical issues of racial profiling of uyghurs is another reason for their banning.
